Inessence honey mustard potato chips (imported)

We have to thank our ancient Egyptian brethren for the pairing of Honey & Mustard, amazingly this marvellous food pairing also appears in a 13th century Arabic cookbook. There’s no doubt that this is a delicious pairing, each food in their own right is delicious and together, on a Rubio olive oil crisp, its never made more sense. What I like about this specific crisp flavour is that it never overpowers your senses, first you get that lovely fried potato taste, rich with olive oil, and then you get this spicy mustard note that is ever-so lightly tamed by the sweet note of honey, its a really yummy crisp, neither flavour is dominant, just nicely balanced. I’m seeing this on the barbecue buffet table in the summer, its a must have flavour of crisps and perfectly encapsulates the fabulous honey and mustard notes we have all come to love.
